The story follows Kaname Sudo, an ordinary high school student who receives an invitation to try out a app called "Darwin's Game". Upon launching the app however, Kaname finds himself in a game where players fight one another using abilities called Sigils.

After losing consciousness, Kaname awakens to find himself shirtless on a bed at the end of the episode.
Episode 2:
The episode continues from where the previous episode left off.
Episode 5:
Kaname dives shirtless in icy waters in order to save Shuka.
Episode 6:
Kaname rescues Shuka.
